Olubadan Daughter Dies In Auto Crash

The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji,lost his daughter, Mujidat Alagbada, in a fatal accident on Tuesday.

A source at the palace, who preferred anonymity because he had no authority to speak on behalf of the Ibadan monarch, said Mrs. Alagbada died after a taxi she chattered was involved in an accident around the Lagos end of the Lagos-Ibadan Express Road.

He said, “Olubadan is sad because of the death of his daughter. She was the wife of a popular music promoter, Alagbada. She was going to her shop when her personal vehicle broke down. She chartered a taxi but on the way, the taxi was involved in an accident around the tollgate in Lagos.

“She later died of injuries she sustained in the accident. The Olubadan has received support from Ibadan elders and council of chiefs. She was buried on Wednesday according to Islamic rites.”

It was learnt that prominent Ibadan people and dignitaries from all over Nigeria would visit the monarch on Monday (today) to commiserate with him.

Effort to speak with the special assistant to the king was unsuccessful as his mobile telephone number was switched off.

‘We all have done foolish things one time or the other in our lives... Have actually done lot of foolish things, yeah lot of stupid things indeed... Alleged Jimi Agbaje’s Cousin Rejected By Lady After Trekking From Ketu Lagos To Zaria Kaduna To Propose To A Lady And She Turned Him Down

Tunde Agbaje has reportedly trekked from the Ketu area of Lagos State to Zaria in Kaduna State.We learnt that 26-year-old Agbaje, who is the cousin of a former People’s Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, went on the adventure to prove his love for a lady, Sharon Donald.Our correspondent gathered that 26-year-old Donald is the daughter of a former governor of a state in the South-
South and had recently travelled to New York, United States of America.It was learnt that Agbaje and Donald hadmet in Ikoyi, Lagos State, and had been friends for the past six years, but she hadturned down his marriage proposal several times.

Agbaje said he decided to trek to Zaria to prove his love for Donald, adding that he was on the road for 19 days.The Lagos State indigene was reportedly received on Friday, October 21, by the Chief Security Officer of the Ahmadu Bello University, Col J.K. Tukur; and the protocol office of the Emir of Zaria.He was later taken to a hospital where he was reportedly treated for the injurieshe sustained during the trek, which was monitored by a GPS tracker.Narrating how he met Donald, Agbaje said,

“I was with my friends sometime in 2010 and while we were discussing about ladies, I said I wished God would just show me my wife anytime soon.“About five minutes later, we were hungry and I went to get food on Awolowo Road. It was my first day at that eatery. I was waiting to be served when she walked in. Coincidentally, that day was also her first day there. “Tunde (Agbaje) has been harassing and stalking me for the past sixyears and as far as I am concerned, this is just a new escapade in a series of his harassment.

“I met Tunde at a church when I was living in Lagos and we were both part of the youth ministry. He never had a friendship, let alone a relationship, with me. I was in a music group and some of the youths had my phone number,
including him.

“He later found out where I lived and came to my house. My mum warned himto leave me alone, but he refused. I changed my phone number and moved to the US, but I don’t know how he got my contact. I have stopped picking calls from Nigeria because of him.

“He later called me and said he was going to trek to prove his love for me in a non-violent way and I told him not to do it because he could die. I said that not because I cared, but just for Christian charity.

So Sad! Photos Of Six Siblings Poisoned To Death In Anambra Set To Be Buried

This is so sad, this heartbreaking photos shows six children from the same parents who were poisoned to death by an unknown person in Ekwulumili area of Anambra state.

The children were said to have met a pot of food in their house, not knowing it was poisoned, ate it and all died instantly. This was some time in July and according to the obituary above, they will be buried on Saturday, November 5th in their hometown.

Father From Hell!! Father Strangles 2 Of His Children To Death As Sacrifice To His Dead Father

The Sun is reporting that a 35-year-old Thomas Matthew who lived at Mountain village opposite Dantata Camp, Asokoro, Abuja, claims his late father initiated him into an occult group. He also claimed that his father appeared to him and commanded him to sacrifice his children to him on different occasions.

On October 7th, Mathew found fault with his wife, Bola, who is deaf and dumb, beat her up, then chased her out of the house.

He had previously killed their 2 month old son by strangling him to death last year and October 7th, 2016, he strangled their his four-month-old daughter, Mary Matthew to death.

According to the Commissioner of Police, of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Mr. Mohammed Mustafa the suspect was apprehended this time after his wife made a report at the Police station that he had killed their baby.

The wife also explained that he had tried to kill their 9 year old son in the past and luckily she caught him in the act then sent her son away to her mother's home for him to be taken care of there.

With the help of a sign language expert, the wife, Bola, recalled how the suspect tried to kill their first son.
She said:

“I didn’t know that my husband is a cultist. I remember when he first tried to kill our first son, I reported the matter at the Garki Police Station. It was my mother who took the boy away from the house and he is still staying with her in Mararaba, Nasarawa State. Then I had another son last year. When he was two months old, he became sick. My husband killed him in September 2015. I didn’t know until he confessed. This year I had our daughter.

In the night of October 7, 2016, we were together in the house when suddenly he started beating me. I got injured and ran away to his elder sister’s house. Before I came back with his sister, he had strangled our baby to death. He locked the door and ran away. It was policemen from Asokoro Police Station, where I reported the case that broke the door and found the baby. We rushed the baby to Asokoro General Hospital. The doctor said the baby was dead. Now I have only one son left, Josiah Matthew. It was only God who saved me from the power of darkness.”

When interrogated, Matthew who hails from Kwande Local Government Area, Benue State said:

“I got married to my wife, Bola, and we were blessed with three kids. My father is a cultist and he initiated me into the occult. My father asked me to offer the children as sacrifice and mark of honour to him, promising he would make me become rich.

“It was a covenant that nobody knew, even my wife. My father gave me conditions that if anybody got to know or I revealed the covenant, that the covenant would be destroyed. From the time I had my first child, my father began disturbing me to offer my child to him as a sacrifice.

“I tried to kill my first child by strangling, but my wife caught me and reported to the police and her mother came to take the child away from the house. He has been staying with her in Mararaba, Nasarawa State.
Later my father appeared to me after I had my second son, John, who became sick. I strangled him to death in 2015. On October 7, 2016, my father appeared to me again that I should kill my only daughter. I was with my wife and then I started beating her and she ran away to my elder sister’s house and I locked the door and strangulated my four-month-old baby girl and she died.

I locked the entrance of the house and ran away. It was the youth in my area that arrested me and handed me over to the police. I wanted to kill my younger brother according to my father’s instruction. My father is still alive and he is in the village in Benue State.”

Winners Chapel 'Pastors' Fights Dirty Over N.16m Church Money

According to Vanguard, three Pastors of the Living Faith Church also known as Winners Chapel at Isheri Olofin area of Lagos state are engrossed in serious fight over the sharing of N16.5m realized from the purchase of some parcel of land and property by the church in Lagos.

The fight which was said to have started from the church premises has now moved to the Lagos court where the parties are seeking justice.

The three pastors in the matter are Deacon Dolire Oluwaniyi who is also an estate agent on the one hand and two other Pastors, Edwin Iky and Peter O. Odama on the other hand. The last two acted on behalf of the church over the purchase of the property.

In the suit before Magistrate’s court sitting in Ogba, with suit number, MIK/4174/16, Deacon Oluwaniyi stated that the two pastors cheated him after they collected N140m from their General Overseer, Bishop David Oyedapo and paid N130m to the owner of the property.

Apart from that, Deacon Oluwaniyi also stated that as the agent who linked the church to the owner of the property, he was entitled to N6.5 million commission which was also paid by the church but was shared between the two pastors and he was not given a dime.

Following the alleged scam, the claimant dragged the church to the court seeking an order that he should be paid his commission as a registered agent with his company’s name, Bedek properties that facilitated the transaction.

In his affidavit in support of the claim, the claimant stated that his company wrote to the church introducing the properties which contain two big church halls and a story building on one acre of land located at Iyana Odo, along Igando road in Sheri Olofin area.

He stated that he was contacted through the pastors and he linked the church to the owner of the property, one Bishop Emmanuel Omobajesu.
The claimant said after the payment for the property he demanded for his commission and the two pastors asked him to bear it as seed to the church where as they had already collected the money from the church.

The claimant also stated that the pastors involved in the transaction are not honest and sincere as they both ate with both hands and thereby soiled their hands in the transaction.

In response, the defendant under the registered trustee of the church stated that the claimant was not appointed as its agent, legal representative nor hold any partnership and did not authorise the claimant to act on behalf of the defendant.

It also stated that the claimant have no locus standi to sue the defendant as regard the property and demanding N6.5m agency commission.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O Osibajo has adjourned the matter till 23 November, 2016, to deliver rulings on the motions filed by the parties.

Vanguard reports in an interview with Comrade Adeshola disclosed that the new policy of the Lagos state government under the leadership of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is collaborating with the association to give Bus Conducting profession a new look.

According to him, “presently Lagos state government through the Lagos State Drivers Institute, LASDRI is training and accrediting conductors in the state, adding that after the training the graduands would be employed as Bus Conductors and would be on the payroll of the government with a salary worth of N50,000 per month.

“The objective is to make the job of bus conducting attractive, respected and dignified as obtainable globally”, he said. Adeshola explained that there is a project in the pipeline by the state government to change the face of transportation system to enhance security and also provide employment opportunity in the state.

Speaking on the vision of the association, he said, since the establishment in 2008, it has been working relentlessly with the federal government through the national assembly as well as some state governments to establish its presence.

Earlier in the week, dance queen Kaffy called out HKN front man Davido for allegedly disrespecting dancers, and always urge Davido's manage to speak about it, now in a recent interview with Saturday Beats, Davido’s manager, Kamal Ajiboye said dance queen Kaffy was just seeking for attention.

Kamal who talked about the singer’s issues with Kaffy also said his camp won’t give her the attention.

According to Kamal, “I am not aware of any problem between Davido and Kaffy. Davido said that he didn’t need dancers for his performance and I don’t see how that is a problem. We saw what she posted online but we chose to ignore it because we are too busy to comment on such. Davido does not have any particular dancer that he works with. 11 Children Used For Begging By A Church In Lagos Rescued By Police

On Friday, the Lagos State command of the Nigeria Police Force, paraded an evangelist with a church in the Ikorodu area of Lagos alongside other suspects for allegedly exploiting 11 kids for street begging.

Lagos state police Commissioner, Mr Fatai Owoseni told newsmen that his men stormed the church on a tip-off after two of the under aged children were spotted begging for alms.

Owoseni said detectives, after interviewing the children, stormed the church premises where others were rescued and one Lois Antinso was arrested.

The police commissioner said the church was being investigated to know its involvement in using the children for street begging and slavery.

The suspect, Atinso said “I am attached to the church. I am an Evangelist in the church. We run an orphanage/less privileged home at Agbede road, Ikorodu. We care for the poor, needy, orphan, widow, destitute and abandoned. All support funds are paid to the church’s account .”

She denied any wrongdoing and expressed shock that the leader of the church denied knowing her.

“I was shocked when the Bishop of the church came to the police to deny me. We go out three times, a month to beg for assistance. It is not as if I leave the children to go on their own. I am saying that the children are too small to speak. The police interrogated them and they started talking as if I allow them to go alone. The day I was arrested I was taking two of the children, nine and 10 to the bank to teach them how to use ATM. It was not as if I took them out for begging.”

One of the children, Nnoso said “We were begging when the police picked us. We used to go for begging three times a week. People used to give us alms, food items, clothes, shoes and money. We used to hand over the things to Aunty.

“I came to Lagos in company with one of my aunties. She took me to the church and handed me over to the aunty in the church. My aunty in the church warned that whenever my mother called from the village, I should tell her that I am alright and that I must not tell her that I am in the church. Each time my mummy called, I used to tell her that I was with my real aunty that brought me from Imo state to Lagos.”

Singer Tiwa Savage To Reconcile With her Estranged Husband

Recall that about six months ago, the media was awash over the marital bruhahaha between Mavin record first lady Tiwa Savage and her estranged husband Tunji Balogun, better known as Tee Billz.

According to sources close to the singer, her body language indicates that she’s ready to reconcile with her baby’s daddy. Already, there have been meetings between both families aimed at a peaceful reconciliation,Vanguardreports.

Tiwa is also said to have been meeting with older couples and counsellors who have been advising her to give her marriage another chance in respect of the ‘for better, for worse’ vows she took at the altar.

'If I Were A Supreme Court Judge, I would Have Ordered Amaechi's Arrest' - Segun Oni

Former Ekiti State governor Segun Oni says if he was a supreme court judge, he would have arrested for Governor of Rivers State, who is now, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Ameachi.

Segun Oni said this while reacting to claims by two of the arrested judges, Justices Sylvester Ngwuta and Justice John Okoro, that Amaechi when he was still governor, approached them with bribe so they can influence the election petitions results of some state elections.

Speaking to some journalists yesterday, Oni said if the Supreme court judges were indeed upright, they would have ordered the arrest of Amaechi immediately he approached them with bribe.

“I am not in the position to defend Amaechi, but I feel very very sad. I am very sad that a justice of the Supreme Court could come up much later to say somebody attempted to bribe him. If I am a justice of the Supreme Court, that person would not spend another week before he is arrested. So, because it is a crime, if you see somebody committing crime and you keep quiet and now you are talking about it, do you want people to take you seriously? It’s like somebody saying I saw somebody committed rape last year and I didn’t do anything about it. I don’t think that sounds wise. I am not exonerating anybody and there can be investigations.

Photo! Woman Hires-Assassins To Kill Her Ex-Husband In Lagos

Two suspected hired-assassins and a female banker has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command over failed attempt to assassinate her ex-husband in Lagos. The victim was identified as Tochukwu Onyebuchi.

The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu paraded the suspects at the command’s headquarters in Abeokuta on Wednesday.
He said the banker, Oluchi Tochukwu, hired the suspected criminals to assassinate her husband in his residence at Ayobo area of Lagos State.
Iliyasu named the two suspected assassins as Chigozie Smart (32) and Kingsley Ikechukwu (36).

He said they were intercepted and arrested on Oct. 19 at Ijebu-Ode while attempting to escape to Onitsha with the victim’s Range Rover Jeep.
He said Oluchi was arrested at Ayobo area of Lagos State.

He said, “One Oluchi, a 32-year-old banker, who is married to one Tochukwu Onyebuchi years ago, got separated from her husband following some matrimonial problems.

“The custody of their only child is currently being contested in the court but Oluchi has another plan.

“She connived with the trio of Chigozie Smart, Kingsley Ikechukwu and one other who is now at large to eliminate her husband.

“She arranged for the weapons which includes cutlass, iron rods and acid which she kept in her husband’s compound at Ayobo area of Lagos State and described where she kept it to the assailants.

“The suspects went there on Wednesday as planned and cut the man severally on his head with cutlass and poured the acid on him.

“The suspects thereafter abandoned the victim and took away his range Rover Jeep which Oluchi instructed them to drop at her brother’s place in Onitsha, Anambra State.

“Luck ran against them when a patrol team of the Ogun State command on Wednesday sighted the vehicle along the Ijebu-Ode/Benin expressway and stopped it for search.

“While searching the vehicle, blood stain was seen and the two occupants were unable to give satisfactory account of the blood stain, hence, they were arrested.

“It was during interrogation that the suspects revealed all that transpired to the police.”The commissioner said that the victim, who had been treated at an undisclosed hospital, was in the custody of the police helping them in the process of investigation.

Oluchi, however, denied contracting the duo of Chigozie and Kingsley and one other at large to assassinate her husband.She acknowledged that her three-year-old marriage to her husband had crashed but told journalists that she had no reason to kill him.

Meanwhile, Chigozie told newsmen that it was Oluchi who hired them to kill her husband with a promise to purchase “Tokunbo” cars for each of them after a successful operation. (NAN)

'Pastor' Majid Michel Revealed Shocking Revelations About Some Ministers Of God

One of Ghanian finest actor Majid Michel who has turned into a pastor recently, penned down what he found out about pastors.

“The only reason i went to church when i was growing up,… i did so only because it was the respectable thing to do. My motivation for attending was for the sake of my family’s reputation. Actually, i visited many churches around and met many ministers. Among the ministers, i don’t remember ever meeting one that i felt was in his position because God had chosen him to minister to the people. i recall a conversation that i heard one Monday. A pastor was visiting my father and he said, “Boy, i really preached yesterday morning. i had them jumpin’ benches and screaming at every word i said. And you know, i must have really been preaching, because they raised an unusual amount of money for me.” And it wasn’t my first time hearing that. i soon became aware that success in the ministry was measured only in terms of money. The success of a pastor was measured in how big a car he drove and the quality of the clothes he wore. Most pastors competed against one another to build the biggest and the most prestigious or famous church. i also learned that a tremendous number of preachers were involved in improper sexual relationships. They had extra- marital affairs, committed adultery with members of their congregations, and had plenty of “girl friends” when they traveled to church conventions. Many of them exploited their people.
he word among preachers was, “Make them give, make them honor you.” There was no mention of Jesus Christ, no mention of the need to reach and help the drug addicts, the alcoholic, no mention of mothers living in a two-by-four flat with five, six, or seven children in a one or two bedroom without a husband. No mention of how the church can become relevant to this situation. Even taking in new members was another money game. Most pastors, when they saw a new person coming to join their church, saw nothing but money signs. They did not see a soul that was thirsting to know God. All i saw in the ministry was phonies, hypocrites, actors, and money-grabbers who were in the business solely for what they could get out of it and who were not the least bit interested in the souls of men! #LEADERSHi P’

Update! Suspected Owner Of Naijagistlive, Babatunde Oyebode Confesses, Reveals How Cash Is Extorted Through Blackmail, Other Means

Yesterday, we posted a story concerning a certain ypung man that was trying to swindle cash from Femi Otedola, today, we bring you update of this news as reported by Linda Ikeji.

She posted that the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) in Lagos, revealed on Monday that a suspected fraudster, one Babatunde Oyebode (pictured) was arrested for allegedly attempting to blackmail and swindle high profile businessmen and Nigerians. Oyebode's victims submitted different petitions to the SFU, accusing him of fraudulently running a website, naijagistlive.com to send threat messages to people, demanding for huge sums of money to pull down negative stories about them or delete comments.

Now, initial investigation by LIB into the website, revealed that back in March 2016, someone tried to expose Oyebode and his partner's fraudulent activities in the comment section of a post put up on the site.

We can now exclusively confirm that Babatunde Oyebode has confessed to extortion of cash and other items through blackmail using naijagistlive's scandalous posts and this is fact!

Oyebode, popularly known as Baudex on social media, in a video confession to the Police stated that he co-owns the website. He runs it with a lady, believed to be based outside Nigeria.

Email correspondence between him and his accomplice revealed that he was mainly responsible for upgrades on the site, to prevent it from being shut down by hackers. They conversed with one another about extorting their victims, revealing that Paypal and other means are used to receive whatever amount of cash they demand.

They also had conversations about receiving various payments, which victim had paid or not, and price plans for any removal. Huge sums of money have been paid by Nigerians to take down comments!
A particular conversation was highlighted, in which Oyebode and his accomplice spoke about one of the female victims, describing her in unpleasant terms and agreeing to put up a post about her. Incriminating voice notes were also found on his phone.

Also, Oyebode's girlfriend was in contact with his partner in crime through his account on Instagram after his arrest. Investigators initially had access to the account where chats between Oyebode's girlfriend and 9jagistlive were found, in which she revealed she just found out he had been arrested and wanted to know the next step. Suspecting that something was amiss, the password was quickly changed but the damage had already been done.The police is now out to arrest his girlfriend.

Oyebode was picked up by the Police during his third attempt to extort a businessman in Lagos. LIB can authoritatively confirm that after extorting thousands of dollars from the said business man, he continued to make attempts to blackmail and demand for more, saying that he had more stories to run.

This was however how he met his waterloo, as he was arrested while trying to pick up the money paid into his Nigerian account.

Photos! Yewande Oyediran Who Allegedly Killed Her Husband In Ibadan Is Set To Face Trial Nov. 9th

Report has it that the murder trial of 28 year old Yewande Oyediran, the woman accused of stabbing her husband, 38 year old Oyediran Ajanaku Lowo to death at their Akobo estate home in Ibadan, Oyo state on February 2nd this year after a domestic dispute, has been scheduled for November 9th.

The hearing which was earlier slated for October 24th, was rescheduled following the absence of the presiding judge, Justice Munta Abimbola who is the Chief Judge of Oyo State.

The case will come up for hearing at the High Court 1, High Court of Justice, Ring Road, Ibadan. Yewande who is a lawyer and a Staff of the Directorate of public prosecution at the Ministry of Justice, Ibadan, Oyo.

20years-Old Man Beheads And Dumps Woman’s Head In A River To ‘Remain A Normal Person’

Punch is reporting that a 20-year-old Emmanuel Effiong is currently in custody of the Abia State Police Command for beheading a lifeless body and also threatening to kidnap his former employer.

Punch gathered that, Effiong alleges that he was advised by a ‘mad woman’ he gave alms to, to dump a human head or skull into a river, else he would go mad. Desperate to retain his abilities, the 20-year-old beheaded a lifeless body he found at the Aba Park and then proceeded to dump the head into the Aba River.

Not longer after, same Effiong began threatening to kill his former boss, Ikechukwu Udogu, if he wasn’t given N15million. He was however busted after the Abia police traced a text sent to his former employer to him. While in police custody, he confessed his other crime; the beheading of a lifeless body.

Effiong said:
“I gave a mad woman money one day in Aba and she told me to look for a skull or human head and throw inside a river or I will go mad. One morning, when I saw a lifeless body in front of the park, I decided to cut off the dead woman’s head for the exercise. I threw the head into the Aba River to remain a normal person.”

On threatening his former boss, he said:

“I served Mr. Udogu for many years as his gateman, but he stopped paying my salary since September 2009. So, I decided to send him the threat message to get my money from him. ”

Speaking with newsmen yesterday, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Adeleye Oyabade, noted that the headless body was found in the park on September 29, 2016. The police had no clue who committed the crime until Effiong, arrested for a different crime, confessed to being the mind behind the desecrated body.

Oyebade added that three knives and a phone were found in Effiong’s custody. Effiong remains in police jail as investigations into his activities continue.
