I know, that there are 2 kinds of pain, the one that hurts you and the one that changes you...But I have learnt that in all,you are my partner not my enemy as we either win together or loose together guiding each other like a secret.. I know ,that the scars you can't see ,are the hardest to heal....But I have learnt, that Happiness will always come to those who share their love selflessly as you can't have love without a little pain and if the bond is strong enough to overcome the obstacle, then its worth fighting for.. And I do know, that as parents, our marriage counts more not less because even the kids are counting on us....But I have learnt ,that commitment is staying loyal to what you said you will do long after the mode you said it in has left you... Its Hard ?Yes it is But I have learnt that couples who make it,aren't the ones who never had a reason to divorce but the ones who decided that their commitment to each other is more important than their flaws or differences......am never graduating from this school called Marriage.... Odi, I appreciate our similarities and I do Respect our flaws.....Am loyal to our love even in your Absence.

I Love You...But am still Angry jor......HWA To Us

FG Grants Tax Holiday To Music, Movie Producers, Others In The Creative Industry

The Federal Government has granted 'Pioneer Status' or tax holiday to music, movie and others in the Creative Industry, in a landmark move aimed at transforming the industry to a creative economy and creating jobs.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said the decision to grant the industry 'Pioneer Status' is in fulfillment of the promise made by the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, represented by the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, at the opening of the Creative Industry Financing Conference in Lagos 17-18 July 2017.

The 'Pioneer Status' is granted to companies making investments in qualifying industries and products as tax holiday from the payment of corporate income tax and withholding tax on dividend from pioneer profits for an initial period of three years, extendable for one or two additional years.

The 'Pioneer Status' for the Creative Industry covers music production, publishing and distribution (including online digital distribution); Photography; Production and post-production of digital content for motion pictures, videos, television programmes, commercials, distribution and exhibition (digital movies, animation, videos, tv programmes and commercials); Publishing of books (copyrighted books) and development and Publishing of ready-made software (operating systems, software applications and computer games).

''This is a shot in the arm for the Creative Industry, and it will definitely catalyze investments in the industry. It is also the answer to our quest to spur the establishment of world class studios in Nigeria for production and post-production of movies and music videos,'' the Minister said.

He said the need to grant 'Pioneer Status' to the Creative Industry as well as tackle the piracy of creative works were among the key issues raised by participants at the Creative Industry Financing Conference.

''It is a measure of the increasing importance attached to the industry by the Federal Government that these issues are now being handled with utmost urgency. First, the 'Pioneer Status' has been granted within three weeks of the conclusion of the conference. Secondly, an Anti-Piracy Committee, comprising representatives of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, industry stakeholders and the police, has been set up to work out the modality for tackling piracy in a lasting and sustainable manner,'' Alhaji Mohammed said.

He thanked the stakeholders in the Creative Industry for supporting the Federal Government in its efforts that have succeeded in putting the industry in the front burner of the economy and made it a key plank of the government's economic diversification policy.

''We are determined to do more for the Creative Industry in order to allow the creative talents of our youths to blossom, create massive jobs and position Nigeria as a global hub for the industry,'' the Minister said.

Late Michael Jackson's Father Begs To Be Buried Next To His Son

It's no longer news that late Michael Jackson's father Joe Jackson was never in good terms with the superstar until he died.

Now there are reports that Joe is begging Michael's Estate for $14k so that he can be buried next to his late superstar son.

According to a source who spoke with Radar Online, the ailing American talent manager has petitioned the Estate to fork out $14,000 for a burial plot next to his son's grave site,
“Joseph isn’t quite ready to go, and he won’t be until he’s assured that he’ll be able to rest next to his son,” a family insider spilled to Radar of the ailing famous father, 89.

The source said Joe who is in his final days after suffering a stroke in 2015 and was shaken up in a car accident in June, has approached the executors of Michael’s estate to purchase a plot adjacent to the King of Pop’s final resting place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Before the singer's death, the two never had a good relationship, with the “Thriller” singer accusing his father of abuse and keeping him at arm’s length. But despite their differences, the source also revealed that Micheal often turned to his father for help.

“About one month before he died, Michael had asked that Joseph move in with him.”

“Michael felt people were out to get him, and he was confident that nobody could push mean old Joe around.” So, in late May 2009, Joe began making plans to leave his Las Vegas home in order to be with Michael in Los Angeles, according to the source.

“Joseph is terrified of earthquakes, which is why he lives in Vegas and not Los Angeles. But he was going to make the sacrifice for Michael,” the insider tells us.

But unfortunately, Joseph was unable to make the move to California before his beloved son’s life ended on June 25, 2009, from cardiac arrest due to a drug overdose.

University Lecturer Sentenced To Death For Killing Husband Over Property

A Kenyan University lecturer has been sentenced to death for murdering her husband in a row over family property.

Sheila Wanjiku Kibinge, said to be a university lecturer in the US and also a Ph.D. student, was handed the sentence on Tuesday by High Court Judge Jessie Lessit, Kenya's Daily Nation reported.

“The prosecution, led by State Prosecutor Evelyn Onunga, has proved beyond reasonable doubt that you purposed to kill your husband although you allege you were both kidnapped the night your husband was executed,” Justice Lessit said.

The judge dismissed her defence that her husband was killed by kidnappers.

Justice Lessit told the court that the accused murdered her husband by shooting him in the head, neck and chest in Gitaru village, Kikuyu, Kiambu County.

“The number of shots fired at the deceased, Leonard Kibinge Kiruri on the night of April 14, 2014, establishes pre-meditated malice aforethought,” Justice Lessit stated.

Although the mother of two pleaded for leniency, the judge said, “there is only one verdict provided for in the law and that is “to suffer death in the manner prescribed by the law.”

Justice Lessit pointed out that there was no direct evidence linking her to the murder as the weapon used in the crime was never recovered. But she said circumstantial evidence and inconsistencies in her account of events were her undoings.

In her testimony, the woman said she walked away when she heard a blast from the suspected kidnappers before their car crashed into a fence.

She said she did not check on her husband, who was driving the car before it crashed, a fact that the judge faulted.

Justice Lessit said she found it interesting that after the incident, the accused bypassed the Kikuyu Police Station that was near the scene and went to report the matter at the Central Police Station in Nairobi.
Witnesses said the accused had also changed her clothes by the time she reported the matter to the police.

'Jesus loves Tonto Dikeh's tatoos, they are not demonic' - Tonto Dikeh's Alleged Tattoo Artist Defends Her

Celebrity tattoo artiste, Bizzyaski is obviously tired of people insulting and calling Nollywood actress and singer Tonto out over the tattoos inscribed on her body, years ago. According to the self acclaimed devoted christian, Nigerians are hypocrites who care so much about physical appearances rather than focusing on the inner beauty.

''Dear Nigerians, when are we going to stop being hypocritical. Tattoos are just body arts for God sake. It’s funny how we care so much about what is outside rather than what is inside. Jesus said in the book of Mark 7:15 and i quote “Nothing outside a person can defile them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them." This is what i meant when i said, Jesus loves Tonto Dikeh’s tattoos. Tattoos are not demonic and tattoos are not sinful. I am a devout christian and i go to church regularly. Many of our elderlies use to get tattoos in those days and it used to be part of our culture. Some of these elderlies still have tattoos of birds, scorpions etc on parts of their bodies. Some educated Nigerians who took part in the bashing should really question their education. #tattoosarenotdemonic
