Presidency Back Isa Pantami, Says He Won't Be Sacked

The president Buhari-led administration has said the minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami will not be sacked following numerous calls from Nigerians for him to be sacked over some statement and activities he indulged in years back before becoming a minister.

Recall that Isa Pantami has been trending for days now after Nigerians took to different social media platforms to campaign for him to be sacked following his alleged involvement with 'Terrorist'

However, the Presidency has been kept mum on the issue since it started, buy they have finally reacted to it.

In a statement according to Garba Shehu, who is the Senior Special Advisers to President Buhari, Pantami can not be sacked over what he did or said in the past.

He further started that they Presidency stand firmly with Pantami, claiming that it's just an evil campaign from some Nigerians against minister.

He also pointed out some 'Achievements' of the minister in less than 3 years since he became a minister.

Here what the statement from Garba Shehu reads.

WE STAND WITH ( BY) PANTAMI..PRESIDENCY

STATEMENT BY THE PRESIDENCY ON RECENT CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE MINISTER OF COMMUNICATIONS AND DIGITAL ECONOMY

Today, there is an unfortunate fashion in public discourse that makes leaders in plitics, religion, and civil society liable in the present for every statement they have ever made in the past – no matter how long ago, and even after they have later rejected them.

This insidious phenomenon seeks to cancel the careers of others on the  basis of a thing they have said, regardless of when they said it.

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami is, currently, subject to a “cancel campaign” instigated by those who seek his removal. They do not really care what he may or may not have said some 20 years ago: that is merely the instrument they are using to attempt to “cancel” him. But they will profit should he be stopped from making decisions that improve the lives of everyday Nigerians.

The Minister has, rightly, apologized for what he said in the early 2000s. The views were absolutely unacceptable then, and would be equally unacceptable today, were he to repeat them. But he will not repeat them – for he has publicly and permanently condemned his earlier utterances as wrong.

In the 2000s, the Minister was a man in his twenties; next year he will be 50. Time has passed, and people and their opinions – often rightly – change.

But all discerning Nigerians know this manufactured dispute is nothing to do with the Minister’s prior words, but solely concern his actions in the present.

This Administration is committed to improving the lives of all Nigerians – and that includes ensuring they are not over-charged or under-protected for those services on which modern life depends.

The Minister has been leading the charge against illegal data deductions and pricing; he has revolutionized the government’s virtual public engagement to respond to COVID-19 and save taxpayers’ money; he has established ICT start-up centres to boost youth entrepreneurship and create jobs; he has changed policy to ensure locally produced ICT content is used by ministries, starting with his own; and he has deregistered some 9.2 million SIMs - ending the ability for criminals and terrorists to flagrantly use mobile networks undetected. In two short years, Minister Pantami has driven the contribution of the ICT sector to the GDP to more than 18 percent, making it one of the top two playing a critical role in the emergence of the economy from the COVID 19-induced recession.

In putting people first, the Minister and this administration have made enemies. There are those in the opposition who see success and want it halted by any means. And there is now well-reported information that alleges newspaper editors rebuffed an attempt to financially induce them to run a smear campaign against the minister by some ICT companies, many of which do indeed stand to lose financially through lower prices and greater consumer protections. The government is now investigating the veracity behind these claims of attempted inducement, and – should they be found to hold credence – police and judicial action must be expected.

The Administration stands behind Minister Pantami and all Nigerian citizens to ensure they receive fair treatment, fair prices, and fair protection in ICT services.

However, this is already causing serious reactions from Nigerians as many claimed they are disappointed at the reactions and statement from the Presidency.

Be Warned, Don’t Invite The Wrath Of Igbos - Ohanaeze Ndigbo Tells Miyetti Allah

Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has warned Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) against any attempt to operate a Fulani security group in the Igbo land.

The group in a statement by its Secretary General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro emphasized that securing lives and property of the citizenry solely lies in the hands of governors and the President, vowing that Ndigbo would resist such attempt to deploy any Fulani security group to man the nooks and crannies of Igbo land.

Isiguzoro said if the purported move by Miyetti Allah is not quelled, it may spell doom for Nigeria.

“We have accommodated them, living with them peacefully, but we will resist any attempt to deploy any Fulani security group in the East,” he said.

The group also gave marching orders to the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and Ebube Agu to as a matter of urgency ensure the unwarranted attacks on Igbo land are stopped henceforth.

The apex Igbo body disclosed that its leadership will invite ESN, Ebube Agu and Miyetti Allah for a meeting so as to holistically and proactively address the wanton destruction of lives and property, occasioned by herdsmen and farmers’ clashes across the South-East zone.

Popular Nigerian Bishop, Samson Benjamin Wears Sackcloth In Protests Against Buhari's Bad Government

Few days after he walked the street of Satellite town with coffin on his head to protest against bad governance in Nigeria, he has yet again stepped out to warn the government of today against the great consequences that wait them if they fail to change

President Buhari has been warned again by popular Lagos State based Pastor Samson Benjamin, to repent from his ‘bad’ leadership or get ready to face God’s punishment.

The well respected clergyman and General Overseer Of Resurrection Praise Ministry in a statement released on Sunday, April 18, lamented the incumbent government’s attitude towards the state of the nation, noting that there is a great consequence awaiting the leadership, especially President Buhari if he fails to act positively.

Archbishop Benjamin said the wall of Nigeria has cracked, adding that the bigger the crack will become, the more Lizards will troop into the wall.

The clergy who is also known as Jehovah Sharp Sharp, took to the street of Lagos on Sunday to demonstrate against President Buhari’s government. The clergy had in the previous week when carried coffin on his head to give warnings to the present administration.

Archbishop Benjamin claimed he was not doing the demonstration on his own, but because God had instructed him to do so. According to him, sack cloth means the nation’s situation is so bad that the only person who can intervene is the Lord God almighty.

He revealed that if the leaders fail to listen and heed the warnings from the Lord as delivered by him, there will be great consequences. Benjamin reiterated that the sackcloth simply indicates that the situation of the country has gotten worse beyond what anyone born of human can repair.

Speaking about his previous demonstration and why he embarked on another spiritual exercise, the clergy said: “Last week I was carrying a coffin on my head, today I am on sackcloth and this is because the present and current managers of Nigeria are people that don’t listen to advice, suggestions and contributions, in fact, they perceive you as anti-government when you contribute.

He added: “Today I am in sackcloth, on the 15th of this month which was on Thursday, I turned one year seven months of not eating food cooked by fire or any pleasant food and you don’t expect that I will go on such a mortal vacation or solitary confinement without a message from God for Nigerians.

“This message is for the leadership from the president to the national assembly, to the federal house of representatives, to the governors, to the local government chairmen, the councillors and the appointees of the president that they should know that the country is already at a verge of serious confusion.

“You will agree with me that there have been agitations of breaking away here and there, they are a crack on the wall of our project Nigeria and our leaders seems not to know what to do, they seem to be sitting down and folding their hands, the way this thing is going, if the leadership do not arise to do something very quickly, there will be more agitations and the more the wall of Nigeria is being cracked, the bigger the crack will become, Lizards are already preparing to enter the cracked wall of the Nigerian nation so I had to put on sackcloth, not only because I am doing what I am doing now, but as a servant of God, sackcloth means the situation is so bad that the only person who can intervene is the Lord God almighty.

“I am not on the side of the politician, I am not on the other side but I am on the side of God, what I am doing now has nothing to do with hatred for any person, God sent me and I am delivering this message to the leaders to do something or they will see more.”

Benjamin again warned that the Nigerian leaders still have the opportunity to repent of their ways before it gets worse because God is not happy with them.

He said: ‘’Except the leaders repent of their ways, they will not be able to escape the consequences, so many of our leaders believe that no one can do anything to them because they have the money and influence but everything isn’t money.

“When God looks at the poor and he can no longer stand it and the cups of the rich is full, then HIMSELF will stretch forth His hands and redeem the people by himself, Nigeria needs redemption right now, except the leaders sit down and find a way to redeem Nigeria from this quagmire, the rod of the Lord is already on its way upon them, if they continue to toil this line, they are inviting the rot of God.”

“When a man has a quarrel with a man, another man will settle them but when a man has a quarrel with God, nobody born of a woman can settle that quarrel. Now they still have the time to repent, now that I am still on sackcloth, they have the time to repent, I am not only on sackcloth alone, I carried ashes with me, it is part of the deep grievances we have, I carried this ashes to let you know the level of the anger of the most high, He is not happy. God will rise in his anger, he will send his rod upon the leaders except they repent,” the clergy reiterated.

Federal Government Suspends Pastor Adeboye’s Aircraft From Flying

The Federal Government, through the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has grounded a private chopper belonging to Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God at the Lagos Airport.

It was learnt that the aircraft, AgustaWestland AW139 chopper, with registration number 5N-EAA, was suspended from flying over two weeks ago, following the expiration of some of its papers and spare parts.

The suspension, officials said, would also allow the regulator to conduct vital safety checks on its safety-critical components, especially some spare parts that are due for replacement.

Adeboye had, last Saturday during a special meeting with all ordained ministers of the mission at the RCCG, Region 21, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, called for drastic action against corrupt practices in all facets of Nigeria.

The RCCG leader, who flew a chopper to the venue, said he arrived late for the meeting because someone had requested a bribe from him to fly his chopper.

He said he had decided to embark on the trip via his chopper to avoid a possible gridlock on the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The 79-year-old mathematician-turned-preacher said, “I don’t give excuses because I have discovered long ago that only failures give excuses. But you must pray for Nigeria.

“Something must be done about corruption in this nation. All I can say is that I am this late because somebody wanted a bribe. And you know if you are expecting a bribe from me, you have to wait forever.

“But the devil has failed. And the devil will continue to fail. I decided to come by helicopter so that there won’t be a traffic jam that would tie me down on the expressway because I know what the devil could do.

“Then, I ran into something else. But by the grace of God, we are here.”

Although it is not clear, who requested the alleged bribe from the revered servant of God, investigations by the paper revealed that the cleric’s chopper was suspended from flying by the regulatory authority over safety issues.

Multiple aviation sources confirmed that Adeboye could not fly his chopper with registration number 5N-EAA to the Ibadan programme but had to fly another aircraft reportedly belonging to Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel).

A top official of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, who is close to the operations of the two choppers belonging to the servants of God, said, “The team relating directly with Daddy G.O. should have told the man of God on time that his chopper had not been cleared by the NCAA and, as such, it couldn’t go on the Ibadan trip. They shouldn’t have waited till the last minute. The NCAA (aviation regulatory agency) that we have now is different from what it used to be. There is a new man in charge who always insists that things must be done properly as far as the safety of lives is concerned. The church’s protocol team should have told him that the NCAA has not cleared the aircraft and it may not clear it within a short time because certain procedure must be followed. As such, an alternative arrangement should have been made.”

The NAMA official, who chose to speak on condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to speak on the matter, further said, “On that last Saturday morning, when it later became obvious that the jet was not cleared to fly, they had to make an alternative arrangement with Bishop Oyedepo’s chopper. They had to quickly begin that process by filing the flight plan, etc. It was Bishop’s aircraft that Pastor Adeboye later flew to the event. He could not use his own.”

A top official of Omni-Blu Aviation, the airline operating the chopper for Adeboye, confirmed the development.

The official, who chose to speak on condition of anonymity, said a letter from Italy-based Leonardo, the manufacturer of Adeboye’s AW 139 helicopter, requesting the NCAA to grant a time extension on some spare parts that are due for replacement came late.

The spare parts due for replacement have been ordered from the manufacturer but they have yet to be shipped into Nigeria because they are usually produced on demand, according to Omni-Blu Aviation.

As such, the NCAA could not immediately grant the requested extension. Instead, the regulatory agency requested that comprehensive safety checks be conducted on the aircraft in line with standard aviation safety practice.

He said, “The NCAA that we have now is different from what it used to be. It always insists on standard. We don’t want any disappointing situation for anybody, especially for a globally reputed servant of God like Daddy G.O. It appears the man of God was not properly briefed. But we thank God an alternative arrangement was made to rescue the situation. Safety is first and paramount. No life is worth toying with, how much more that of a servant of God like Daddy G.O. As an airline, we won’t compromise safety no matter the pressure.’’

The Omni-Blu official denied knowledge of any bribe request, either by the airline or aviation officials.

He, however, said it was not impossible that some people might have cashed in on the situation to demand a bribe.

“You know some people don’t fear God no matter what. They can even go to the extent of asking a servant of God for a bribe. So, it is not impossible. But on our part, I am not aware of such.”

As it stands, it is uncertain when Adeboye’s chopper will be allowed to fly.

However, findings revealed that NCAA had directed maintenance and safety checks to be conducted on the aircraft.

As such, the operator has secured a date for this at Aero’s maintenance hangar.

When contacted for comments, the Director-General, NCAA, Captain Musa Nuhu, confirmed that the regulatory agency had suspended flights on the aircraft for safety reasons.

According to him, the NCAA does not often deal directly with individuals or owners of aircraft but the operator.

In this case, he said the NCAA only had business with the operator of the aircraft, Omni-Blu Aviation.

Nuhu said, “There are safety-related issues that must be resolved before the aircraft will be approved for resumption of flights. Safety is the paramount consideration in all approvals given by the NCAA. No matter what, we must not sacrifice safety for flights; that is the whole idea.”

When contacted, the spokesperson for RCCG, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, said the matter was being resolved already.

On the bribery allegation, he said the church would not want to take issue with the aviation authorities on the matter.

Olubiyi said, “We will not want to take issue with the aviation authorities but I can assure you that an amicable solution is being found to the issue.”

Bauchi Government To Conduct Headcount Of Sex Workers

The Bauchi state government has revealed plans to conduct a headcount of sex workers in the state to have accurate data on them.

NAN reports that the Permanent commissioner in charge of Hisbah and Sharia implementation, Aminu Balarabe-Isah, disclosed this in Bauchi on Monday during a sensitisation workshop organised for sex workers.

He said the information gathered from the count will help the commission in taking measures that will discourage sex workers from continuing their trade.

He said investigation carried out by his agency shows illiteracy, poverty, and maltreatment from stepmothers as the cause for increasing interest in the trade.

He added that minor family issues also contributed to their decision.

Balarabe-Isah assured the sex workers that the government will make effort to reunite them with their parents.

He also said the state government had plans to organise empowerment programmes for the sex workers as well as provide them with capital to start small-scale businesses.

The commissioner said the state government was ready to organise mass marriages for those of them who wanted to get married.

Hafsatu Azare, who spoke on behalf of the sex workers, said they were willing to quit the trade if the government would empower them economically, describing their condition as pathetic.

Why We Built A Mosque For Muslim In Adamawa State - Catholic Bishop Reveals

A Catholic Church in the north has warmed the heart of many with their unusual act of building a Mosque.

You would agree with me that this is not a regular situation, especially not with what has been happening in Nigeria lately between the Christians and the Muslims, but for this church, it's nothing to them

The Bishop, Catholic of Yola, Revered Father Stephen Mamza has disclosed why the church Built a mosques for the internally displaced Muslims at the St Theresa Camp in Yola, Adamawa state.

The Bishop revealed this in an interview with one of the National Dailys, Punch Newspaper.

Mamza said that since a church was built for Christians in IDPs by the Catholic,, the church authorities in Yola aslo thought it's best to also provide a good place of worship for the very few Muslims among them.

He further stated that the Boko Haram insurgency was a monster which the church was contending With.

The Reverend Father said,

“As you know, since 2014 the Catholic Diocese of Yola, has been involved in taking care of displaced victims of insurgency – those displaced from southern Borno and also northern Adamawa, who ran into Yola for refuge. So, the church opened its doors so that these people could put up. At a certain stage we had over 3,000 people living on our church premises. Most of them returned to their original homes after the military reclaimed their homes.

“But again, there are those who still face threat of insurgency, especially those living at the border of Sambisa forest and cannot go back to their homes because of the activities of Boko Haram since 2014. These people have been at the camp that we set up for IDPs at St. Theresa Cathedral. So, we thought of what we could do to improve their living standards. Because we were becoming weary of taking care of them and even for our donors fatigue was setting in. And the IDPs themselves were getting tired of staying in the camp – it is not easy for anyone to live for seven years in a small tent in a camp with children. So, I thought of building a place where the IDPs could be resettled.

“And thanks be to God, through the support of Mesio in Germany, we started last year in January the construction of 86 units of houses to be built for the 86 families still in our camp. On the housing estate, we built a church and a mosque and a school for the IDPs, which will soon be inaugurated. Already some of the IDPs have been moved into the estate.

“In the first place, when we played host to these IDPs, we did not discriminate against any one of them. We didn’t ask what religion the IDPs belong to; we didn’t ask for their church denomination; we just treated them as human beings who are in need of help, irrespective of their religion, denomination or tribe. The majority of the IDPs who thronged our camp were Christians but there was also a large number of Muslims among them. And if we were able to build houses for all of them, and also built a church for the Christians among them, then it is only a matter of justice and fairness that we also provide a space of worship for the few Muslims among them.

“There are about 10 to 12 Muslim families in the camp. I just felt that since we didn’t leave out the Muslims while providing food for the Christians or leave the Muslims out while building houses for the Christians, it is only just that we also build a mosque for the Muslims as we built a church for Christians. It is not something that is commonly done; it is not something that we have heard of being done, especially in our country, Nigeria, where everybody is conscious about their own religion.”

However, this has earned them lots of applaud from Nigerians as many have taken to social media to shower praises on them

Your Fake Prophecy Is Responsible For Crisis In Imo State - Primate Ayodele Tells Father Mbaka

The recent crisis in Imo state is not something look away from because it has been almost an everyday occurrence.

Aside Imo state, the continuous uneasy in Nigeria now is a serious topic that need attention from ever Conner if the country.

The spiritual Head of INRI Evangelical Church and fiery prophet, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has accused Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka of being responsible for the crisis in Imo state.

Primate Ayodele said this in an interview with New Telegraph Newspaper, he said Father Mbaka is the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministries, Emene, Enugu state to apologize for what he (Primate Ayodele) described as 'false and misleading prophecy' which insists is the cause of the on going crisis in Imo state.

Here's part of the interview

How would you describe the state of the nation today?

Over the years, I have warned that there will be anarchy in the country. Before the kidnappings, killings and banditry began in the country, God had shown me that kidnapping will take a horrendous dimension Nigeria.

But some people mocked me saying: ‘Oh, this is rubbish.’ Look, my prophecy is not permutation or something done for popularity. If it is about popularity, I have already gained popularity. I have gained fame here and all over the world. Before Joe Biden was picked to run for US Presidency, I had prophesied that he was the candidate who will deliver victory to the Democrats. Before Kamala Harris was chosen, I also said it. Also before the death of John Magufuli of Tanzania,

I said let’s pray against the death of a sitting President in Africa. Whatever I said, I have the records but our leaders don’t listen. I warned ahead of time against death of the Prime Minister of Cote d’Ivoire, Hamed Bakayoko, who died recently. Prophecy is a warning against an impending doom. But it depends on how one understands it and acts upon it.

Some people read prophecy as if they are reading a novel. When I prophesied about football score in the match between Lesotho and Nigeria, some people mocked me and said ‘Naija Bet.’ What is Naija Bet in that?

Nigerians are not serious. I prophesied the tribunal victory of President Akufo Ado of Ghana. And when some said Ado will not be sworn-in, I said that he would be sworn-in. So when you have something and you don’t know how to appreciate or handle it, then you are in trouble.

How does this affect Nigeria?

Nigeria is in trouble because we are taking God for granted. Technically, Government has failed. Government and Nigerians need to seek the face of God to move this country forward. I am not saying they should come to me. They have their pastors and Imams who government can go to or consult.    The state, of the nation is a clear testimony that the APC-led government has failed. They will continue to fail monumentally if they don’t watch their steps. Remember, I said in 2016 that IPOB will cause issues and Nnamdi Kanu was not ordained to actualise IPOB’s fight or goal. Nigeria will break but not now. No government is ready to revert to federalism because of their selfish interest. A lot of things are wrong and no coup will succeed in Nigeria at this moment.

Nigeria has gone beyond the level of coup. But there will be segregation, anarchy and bloodbath. I said all of these and they have come to pass in the name of God, not in my own name. It’s now left for the government to follow the way of God or to still ignore, feel superior and things would get completely out of hand. Remember precisely in 2018, I prophesied that Nigeria would go into recession. Today, is Nigeria not in recession? So the nation has collapsed and only God will help us to resurrect it. In terms of security, Nigeria has failed.

On the economic front, government has failed. In the areas of education, health, name it, we have failed. That is why Nigeria needs to seek the face of God. PDP and APC have failed Nigeria.

There is, however, a chance that there are people who can help the situation. Rule out death of sitting presidents, past presidents and all of that. But I tell you, politics without money is equals to zero. Those who do not have money cannot win election. Nigeria will break whether we like it or not. Only God will help us to exceed 2035. Nigeria will break, mark my word.

The people who can rescue the situation, I will tell you but not in this edition. I will reveal those people in July when I will unveil our latest prophecies. When I told PDP that only Senator Bukola    Saraki would give them victory in 2019, they picked the wrong person. And what happened? PDP lost.

Now APC should shift their party convention. They must work on it very intelligently. If they hold the convention now, it will break the party and that may ull the party down if they are not careful.

We have issues of kidnapping, banditry, herdsmen-farmers attack and insurgency. Who are really these people? Has God revealed who these people really are?

Thank you very much. Miyetti Allah is a terrorist group but government has not taken it seriously.

Abubakar Gumi is just like El-Zak Zaki. If El-Zak Zaki can be locked up, Gumi should also be locked. Miyetti Allah people should be locked up. It is the group behind herdsmen just like politicians are behind Boko Haram. Look, these attacks that have started in Imo State is going to shake Nigeria. Do you know why the crisis in Imo State is getting worst?

It is because God did not ordain Hope Uzodimma to be Governor of Imo State.

He just hijacked it and that is why there are deaths in that state. And he will pay for all of that. Hope Uzodimma did not win that election. Fr. Ejike Mbaka’s prophesy is not real, not of God. It’s deceit. Fr Mbaka should come out and apalogise to the whole world for misleading them.

That is also why the judiciary must review what is going on in Imo State. Hope Uzodimma must be removed with immediate effect. The truth is that politicians are the cause of all these problems of banditry, killings, kidnappings, herdsmen and Boko Haram menace in this country. That is what God has revealed to me. I didn’t say anybody should not challenge it.

But watch it, if the situation is not arrested quickly, matters  will get worst. And that is why the South -West must inject enough money into the operations of its security outfit, Amotekun, to get the outfit to function properly. Failure to do that, the Amotekun will turn out to be another cause for banditry and kidnapping in the South-West, in the nearest future.

South-West governors must handle the issue of Amotekun very properly. Politicians have created serious problems for our country and we need God’s intervention. They are also confused and mark my word, things will get to an extent that the masses will stone governors, former governors, President, ex-Presidents, Ministers and Honourable Members on the streets.

Vice President Yemi Oshibajo has been reduced to political nothingness. I just pity the man because he has no idea of what is going on.

So are you saying that the government of APC led by President Buhari has left Nigeria in more danger?

Definitely, but I won’t use your word. I will use my own word, because my word is divine and I can defend it at any time. We are battling insecurity. Nobody is safe. We have a new Inspector General of Police. I am happy. I am sending words to him; he needs to listen and do the right thing.

His mission in that position is divine. God has chosen him to be there. I don’t know him, but if I am given any message to give anybody, I will. I don’t beg anybody; I don’t need to parade myself before anybody. If God is here in Oke-Afa, in Lagos and that same God can talk to anybody anywhere in the world, I will never deceive myself. If I know you, I will write you and if I don’t know you, I will put it in the newspapers. Some states are going to be more volatile.

The states need prayers. Bomb scares, killings and kidnappings are imminent. Obas or kings, chiefs, Emirs and top politician can be kidnapped. The government of Buhari has misled the people. The cabals are taking advantage of President Buhari’s incapacitation to mislead Nigerians and this is wrong.

There is no unity in Aso Rock Villa; many things are wrong and there are lots of hidden things that are happening in the villa. They will soon be revealed.

Nowhere is safe. It’s only God who is protecting us. If they can kill police, army, and kidnap and kill them unnecessarily, who then is safe? You don’t kill your people that you are ruling. And that is what God has revealed to me. Why must a governor invite death to his people?

Who are these IPOB, ESN? What have they done? We ought to take it easy with them and have a dialogue. If they can give amnesty to Boko Haram, why can’t they call these boys to order?

Boko Haram is more terrible than IPOB. IPOB is not a terrorist organisation. The boys are not. The government of Buhari has missed it because of Buhari’s incapacitation. Three events will happen in 2023. So we have to be very careful about 2023 and pray towards it. I will reveal the events in July. Aso Rock Villa will be changed.

That villa will still not be in that place, they will take it to another place in the nearest future. They will attack governors’ convoys; they will stone politicians. APC must not do convention now, if they do it that will spell doom.

However, Father Mbaka is yet to respond to the primate, but his words are seriously causing commotion on social media.

Popular Nigerian Pastor, Carriers Coffin On His Head To Protest Against Bad Governance

Archbishop Samson Benjamin, the General Overseer of Resurrection Praise Ministry, took to the streets of Lagos on Sunday, April 11, to protest against the Buhari-led administration with a coffin on his head.

Benjamin, popularly known as Jehovah Sharp Sharp, carried a coffin as he marched through the streets of Festac.

The Bishop claimed God asked him to do so because he wasn’t happy with the government and the state of the nation.

The cleric explained that his action was the outcome of “a spiritual journey of more than one year”.

“From the 15th of September 2019 up until this moment, I have not eaten food cooked by fire or any pleasant food, I have been seeking the face of God over this great country.

“Last week, I had a mortal vacation, which was a solitary confinement where I didn’t talk to any human to be with the cabinet of the trinity, I didn’t see the sun, moon, clouds.’

“What you are seeing me do here right now is what the Prophets of Old would do. God will ask them to carry a symbol when he wants to pass a message to the leaders of the nation.

“He said to me ‘Go and carry a coffin on your head, it is not furniture or anything for interior decoration, it is good for nothing, it is at the end of the life of a man that he is put into a coffin.”

Benjamin quoted the message he heard: “Tell the leaders that they have intentionally depleted the common resources that belong to this great country and have brought hardship on the citizens, I am not happy with it.”

The Archbishop urged Nigerians to tell the leaders the truth. He described Nigeria as a disappointment to the Lord God almighty “who brought people of various ethnicities together and gave them the resources”

“But those in power have chosen to make the commonwealth of the country their personal property, this is the reason I am carrying this coffin, God is not happy, and he is saying it is not political leaders alone, including the religious and traditional leaders.”

On why he didn’t take it to the Aso Villa, the seat of power in Abuja, Benjamin said God had not asked him to do that yet.

“Human rights is the right of citizens of this country, we have found ourselves in a government that sees you as an enemy when you are being constructive in your criticism.”

The clergyman stressed that the way forward for Nigeria is that those in power need to sit and decide if the country should stay together or not.

“Secession cry is everywhere, the question is, Is it God’s will that all these must happen? We need to sit down at a round table and look at it again what and what put us together, whether those things are still workable today or are no longer workable”, Benjamin said.
