Veteran Nollywood actress and screen goddess, Clarion Chukwurah in a recent interview talked about her past and how she almost aborted her son, music director Clarion Peters.

Clarion & Afro-juju legend Sir Shina Peters are parents to the top music director Clarence Peters.  Clarion reportedly took care of Clarence on her own till he became who he is today.

 "You know what? It is not because Clarence is successful today. Clarence knows the truth and those who are close to me know the truth. I didn’t have Clarence because I was too helpless to get rid of his pregnancy. I had three sets of friends: there was Dr. Ojikutu( pauses)… when I was in the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), he was ready to do it, free of charge. There was St. Lawrence in Ibadan and St. Jude here in Lagos.

But each time, I said no. I lost my father when I was 11 and he left a message that he was going to come back to me through my first kid. So, when I got pregnant, it kept ringing in my head that my father was coming back to me. Even my ex- husband knew how much my father meant to me. It was on his 30th anniversary that I was able to let go of the hurt of his death. Having Clarence was deliberate. I just had the conviction that my father was coming back. And from when he was born, everyone calls him daddy, including my mum."

Could this be the formal DG of NAFDAC and Minister of Information, Prof Dora Akunyili? This is the question currently on the lips of many Nigerians.
It would be recalled that in January, it was reported that  the ex, NAFDAC DG, Dora Akunyili was hospitalize  in the United States after battling with an undisclosed ailment.  She allegedly looked ill and frail before she left the country but her husband debunked the reports.
However, ELB stumbled on the picture of this amazon when showed up at the National Conference in Abuja yesterday to contribute her quota to the deliberation of delegates looking so ill and skinny.

Wizkid himself confirmed it last Thursday during a radio interview with Gbemi on the Drive Time show on Beat FM. When Gbemi questioned him about his relationship with Tania, Wizkid replied;

Bloodbath in Benue as Tiv, Fulani Herdsmen clash claim 55

Hell was let lose yesterday afternoon, March 23 in Benue state as some youths of the Tiv tribe clashed with suspected Fulani mercenaries in the state, leaving 55 people feared dead. 

The communal clash, which was reported to be about land dispute happened at Gbajimba, the headquarters of Guma LGA of the state.

It was gathered that the Fulani mercenaries had attempted to attack the Tiv community in the morning at about 10am but were resisted by the youths. They then made a return after a well coordinated attack plan had been hatched. They came in their hundreds, shooting indiscriminately and burning down houses. Continue...

This morning, march 6th Some mothers in Lagos protested the killing of children in the Northern part of Nigeria. The event was convened by Laila St Matthews. Mrs Joe Odumakin, Mrs Bridget Elesin and other women leaders joined the peaceful protest this morning.
