Enugu state command of the Nigeria Police Force through its operatives of the Uwani Division acting on intelligence information gathered nabbed two notorious suspects on April 27, who specializes in stealing of car batteries as well as other household properties.
Suspect who gave his name as one Agu Kingsley Ebuka of 14 Adelabu street, Uwani Enugu has earlier been arrested and following his arrest, one Chibuzor Friday of Ologo quarters Enugu was arrested who now revealed how him and his cohort have been stealing car batteries from various victims cars within ologo quarters and its environs and be selling to people.
Four motor batteries earlier stolen from victims cars were recovered from suspects including 6 different sizes of plasma television, one Tiger electric generating set, standing fan as well as one volkswagen gulf Registration Number YG 745 ENU fleet number 141/p coal city yellow in colour which was used to be conveying the suspected stolen items.
Suspects involved have been remanded in prison custody after being arraigned in court Five Enugu south headed by magistrate Uzoma.
