'President Buhari is younger than Robert Mugabe. He is the best person to lead Nigeria in 2019' Governor Of Benue State, Samuel Ortom

Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, says contrary to the opinions of some Nigerians, President Buhari is fit and agile enough to lead Nigeria come 2019.

Speaking to newsmen in Makurdi, the state capital yesterday, Ortom said that President Buhari is younger than ousted Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe and that there is no alternative to another leader like President Buhari.

The governor said this when he was asked why he has consistently called for the re-election of President Buhari despite his age and health status. Respodning to the question, Governor Ortom said.

'When last did you see Buhari, he is getting younger and stronger every day. When you talk of age, President Buhari is not as old as Mugabe and beside that, he is still very agile and getting stronger every day. Buhari is still young and agile even younger than Mugabe. He remains one of the most discipline Nigerians, a selfless leader, anti-corruption crusader and his economic policy is very sound which has helped us in getting out of recession. There is no alternative to Buhari at this period, he remains committed to the unity of Nigeria”.
