Wilson Oruma Doesn't Need Anybody's Help- Family Says

Dominic, brother to former Super Eagles star Wilson Oruma, says the family does not need financial help for the player’s treatment.

The U-17 World Cup winner was in the news lately after he reportely relapsed from a mental relapse.

Oruma was said to have been duped to the tune of N1.2 billion by a clergyman and fake businessman in 2012.

Some of his former colleagues are planning a charity match to raise fund for the 1996 Olympic gold medalist.

But Dominic, on Tuesday, said his brother was fine and recovering in a Lagos hospital, adding that he would soon be discharged.

“Wilson is doing very fine he is in a hospital in Lagos. Doctors think he won’t spend a long time in the hospital, he is in great spirit,” Dominic told Top Radio.

“We (family) swing into action and everything is being taken care of. The family is not asking for any financial assistance. We want to let the public know, we appreciate any concern but we don’t want any financial help.”
