Former governor of Jigawa state Sule Lamido has said his presidential ambition is aimed at rendering genuine services to the Nigerian people.
Lamido, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made this known on Thursday.
The former governor said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had failed failed Nigerian and hence should be voted out.
He urged the PDP to put its acts together to defeat the ruling party in 2019.
“We in the PDP should put our acts together and ensure we flush APC out in 2019,” he said.
“God would judge us if we allow the APC to return to power.”
