Saraki was one of the more than 10 aspirants who ran for the presidential ticket of the PDP for the 2019 elections.
Senate President Bukola Saraki has hailed the Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP, Peter Obi, over his performance at the Vice Presidential Debate.
He was reacting to the 2019 debate were five candidates contesting for the vice presidency outlined their policies.
Those who participated were, Yemi Osinbajo (APC) Peter Obi (PDP) Umma Getso (YPP) Ganiyu Galadima (ACPN) Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya (ANN).
Reacting, Saraki commended Peter Obi for reeling out facts to show Nigerians that the country needed to work again.
He wrote: “Tonight, Peter Obi, the Vice-Presidential Candidate of our great party, PDP, reeled out the facts.
“He showed Nigerians across the nation why we need to #GetNigeriaWorkingAgain! #2019Debate.”
