Insecurity: Time To Introduce State Policing Is Now - Guru Marahaj Tells Buhari

Famous Nigerian spiritual leader, Satguru Marahaj Ji has urge President Muhammadu Buhari to introduce local and state policing, so as to combat insecurity across the country.

The acclaimed living perfect master, who recently hosted journalists in his Lagos temple, said "Mr. President should take the bull by the horn about the immediate establishment of local government and State Police in order to clear the back log of jobless and confused men and women who have resorted to robberies, banditry, pen robbery, child trafficking, drug abuse/trafficking, prostitution, etc.

The President should not listen to opposition to this laudable initiative that would make the Nigerian Project have a meaningful enabling ground for success in our desire to protect life and properties of the ordinary Nigerian" he told Nuella-NG.

Speaking further on the Nigeria policing system and the welfare of her officers, "as I have said before over the years, we can, with effective control and management of two Oil Wells in the country, we can give entry salary of N250,000 for police recruits and that includes accommodation to be built in specific strategic areas."

"Any recruit cannot marry until after initial service of seven years. They have to be taught compulsory English, Yoruba, Hausa and French. The Police must have Police Farms to produce their own food for themselves."

"They can go later on into areas of fashion design, shoe making, interior decorations, radio and refrigerator assembly plants, etc. to become self sufficient. All we need is search for raw materials and we can have them. Each Police Station must have enough cars and buses to carry out its duties."

He added by saying, "the Police Economic Team created by OBJ should be returned whereby this team would be solely responsible for supplying the Police Force and each station with cars, petrol, stationery, telephones, etc. to ensure that the Policemen don’t have any operational problems."

It is known that Police Bail is free but some stations do mainly because they have no tools to work with, emergency imprest account be given to each station by the President. Recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force should not be by Federal Character, religion, tribe or State.  It should be done direct through the Secondary Schools to Polytechnics and the Universities."

"Federal Character, Religious and Tribal considerations breed nepotism, greediness, selfishness and integrity crisis and by extension failures and losses and a threat to national security. The Police needs about 70 re-connaisance crime control jets.  In addition, each State should have about 300 quick jump start cars to give them the will power to face any challenges coming their ways."

"The Nigerian Police Service Commission should be reorganized to leave only patriots and humanists whose aim is to give us a formidable Police Force, whose lives must be insured against accidents and accidental deaths."

Marahaj also address the recent judgement delivered by the tribunal on the 2019 presidential election. According to him, all power brokers must come together and work for a common goal, which should be towards a better Nigeria. He urges contestants to shred their sword and embrace peace.

Hear him, "I would like to congratulate all present for cooperating with me to disgrace the enemies of the people who predicted that there would be war in Nigeria before, if not during and or after the just ended general elections."

"I singularly led the team to advise the blacks in the Diaspora right from the word go not to vote for any other contestants other than President Buhari because we do not need any egregious leader who would wire, transform and steal all your wealth for developing Middle Eastern and European countries, as discovered during the first term of Mr. President."

"I am therefore congratulating the Judges in the Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal for a job well done to confirm that the elections of President Buhari was fair, free and conducted in an atmosphere of peace. This was given credence by all the local and foreign observers.

"There is therefore need to inform all contestants not to institute any further appeal in the Supreme Court. Rather they should congratulate and give support to Mr. President to allow him proceed in earnest to tackle matters of State which require urgent attention. I would like through this medium, to allay the fears of the other members of the opposition groups" he reassures.
