Nigerian Mother Writes Open Letter To Nollywood Star Mercy Johnson Okojie Over Her 4th Pregnancy.

Recall that few days backs, the mother of three who got married to her husband, Prince Okojie in 2011, had taken to her social media handle to post; "We are having a baby I’ve always wanted 4 kids. always. However, after three kids, I thought I had retired from the baby making business. So a while back, we found out we had a baby on the way. I can’t explain the joy and peace expecting our new baby has brought, or the cravings for food that have followed. I get so emotional easily, in fact right now I’ve started crying from joy again. I’m sharing this with you my family for life, hanging on since day 1, growing with my family and I and always showing all the love. I love you all right back. Baby Okojie 2020 getting ready God bless you all!"

Well, a concerned fan has written the actress and expressed her displeasure towards her for publicly announcing, she is expecting her fourth baby. The fan, a lady who doesn't want her name mention writes from Lagos;

So, i am going to start this LETTER first by congratulating Mercy Johnson and her husband Prince Odianosen Okojie, indeed children are a blessings from God and of a truth every woman and man deserves it.

Now to my LETTER. Mercy, you are one woman i respect so well in the industry, infact, at the early stage of your career I can I say I was one of the people who strongly believe you were going to make it real big in the industry and thank God my prediction and hopes happened as I wished.

In 2011 when you got married, I am sure must people did not believe you would last this long in marriage especially as the Nigeria movie industry is almost known for divorce and the kind of roles you played in movies, but should i say 'surprisingly' or 'shocking' you have celebrated eight cool years in marriage with three beautiful and wonderful kids and the fourth one on the way.

Obviously you are now a role model to many and of course is not a bad idea but honey it doesn't end there.

Personally, I am disappointed in you, for announcing the arrival of your fourth baby on social media; don't get me wrong, I am not literally saying I am not happy with you being pregnant, I am just concern about the way you went about it.



I stumbled on the news of your pregnancy on facebook and something caught my attention. the poster wrote 'Mercy Johnson expecting baby number four' and he further started 'Wait o, shey all these celebrities no get winch for their family, why she go even expose the innocent child to this wicked world like this'

And I can't help but concur his point. Mummy Purity, annoucing you are expecting a baby should just be it and no need for all the display of pictures and all. expecially the SCAN picture.

MJ i do not need to tell you that not all that congratulated you actually meant it. I don't think you needed all those write-up and explanation because you OWE NO MAN AN EXPLANATION for getting pregnant for your HUSBAND.

If you ask me, I think you are exposing your family and your unborn child. oh yes! God is fully on ground to protect you, but if he is protecting you and you refuse to protect yourself, na who you do?

Privacy is good, but been vigilant is KEY. Dakore, Omawumi, Chioma Chukwuka Apute, and few others has families but decided to keep them away from the public. see make i tell you, some of these your colleagues no wish you well.

Going as far as showing to the world your scan result is even laughable because i don't think anybody would have doubted you if you only announced that you are pregnant. Mercy learn to keep things private. Privacy i repeat is cool, but been vigilant is KEY. you would have left your fans guessing, rather than letting the cat out of the bag in that manner.

I have seen some of your colleagues who took in but kept in private, not because they don't want to announce it, but because they know the importance of privacy and been careful.
