What Toyin Abraham And Funke Akindele Have In Common

Nollywood is blessed with so much talent and great personalities. One thing you can't take out of the industry is the way everyone is striving to get to the top regardless of who's back they are ridding on.


Not many knows that actress Funke Akindele and her collogue and Toyin  Abraham were swon enemies, there was a cold war between these two screen divas.

Funke broke into the limelight after her big break from her popular and ever first produced movie, 'Janifer' which received lots of applause from fans all over the world. ever since then, she has continued to remain strong in the industry.

Toyin Abraham at the other hand has also done well for herself, she also produced her first ever movie titled 'Alakada'. This feet also gave her the Wings to fly closed to her than rival Funke Akindele.

In May 26, 2012, Funke got married to one Adeola Kehinde Olayede, the union only lasted for one year, the union did not produce any seed. She claimed to have walked away from the marriage out of domestic violence and infidelity.

Toyin Abraham also got married to her collogue, Adeniyi Johnson on July 8th 2013 at Ikoyi registry Lagos and their love journey ended in February 2018. Toyin left her marriage on the ground of infidelity which Niyi later confirmed to be true, the cohabitation did not produce a child as well

Fast forward to years after their better experience with love. they have both found love again and this time, they are both winning together.


In February 2019, the internet went agog when knews flew in that Funke Akindele and her new husband JJC Skilz have welcomed a set of twin boys, it was almost like the best news ever to be heard since some prophets have 'prophesied' that she  won't ever give birth to a child talk more of children.

Just as the internet was getting clam over the news of Funke's children's birth, Toyin Abraham also welcomed her son in August 2019. ironically, she also got prophesies that she won't be able to bare children.


Funke has three step children. while Toyin has one with her new man Kolawole.

At the just concluded AMVCA 2020, they both went home with award and their partners were present with them to cheer them.

Funke's husband is a mucian, while Toyin's husband is an actor.

Funke has turned her movie 'Janifer' to a TV sitcoms, while Toyin is about to premiere her movie 'The Return of Alakada'.

Isn't it beautiful how these two are winning ever since they decided to put away their differences?
