Majek Fashek, The Rainmaker Is Dead

Nigeria reggae music icon, Majekodunmi Fasheke better known as Majek Fashek is dead.


The music icon and legend died at age 57.

The death of the music star was announced by his manager, Umenka Uzoma Day on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.

He wrote:
"Today been having pressure calls, well it is true that the African No 1 Legendary ICON has gone to be with the LORD his Maker, he said.

"Let celebrate him, his achievements, and his family, whatever decisions made by his immediate family will be notified."

Recall that Majek was down with strange sickness for years which affected his music career greatly, but few years later, he bounced back and became a regular selecr at shows

Unarguably, he is one of the best musician to have ever come out of this part of the world. Majek rulled in the music industry back in early 1980s and the early 1990s

However, things went differently for him after he went for self-exile which according to reports were because of his failed health and personal issues.

But few years ago, he bounced back into the music scene again and became a regular at selected shows.
