Suspected gunmen Saturday attacks Awo- Omanma, in Oru East local government area of Imo State, the country home of President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Prof. George Obiozor and set it ablaze.
Details on the ugly incident is still sketchy as at the time of filling this report.
Prof Chibuzor is former Nigeria’s ambassador to the United States of America and Israel.
Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma also hails from Omuma community.
Meanwhile, a former Abia State Governor and Senate Chief Whip,Orji Uzor Kalu has condemned the attack, describing it as uncivilized.
