Few months after the alleged marriage crash rumour between Nollywood stars Yvonne Jegede-Fawole and Olakunle ‘Abounce’ Fawole, it can be said that the actress is back to being single as she has dropped her husband’s surname from her Instagram profile.
The rumour about the crashed marriage started after the Edo-born actress in 2018 gave a hint, via a post on her Instagram page, indicating that the marriage might be having issues.
“She fought so many battles this year codedly with her head held up high, But guess what, she is extremely proud of how she handled 2018…
Here she is looking forward to the future π₯
Happy New Year in advance π₯ππππ,” she wrote.
She further confirmed issues in her marriage as she dedicated her son, Xavier, in church on Sunday, February 17, without Abounce in attendance.
Abounce Fawole, who, according to reports, has issues concerning the paternity of the boy, was absent at the dedication.
However, Yvonne Jegede, removed Abounce’s surname, Fawole, from her Instagram handle on Monday, February 18. The 34-year-old actress changed her name from “YvonneJegedefawole” to “IamYvonnejegede”.
