Dear Cynthia Morgan, I Hope You Are Ready To Change

Days ago, we all woke up to a dirty revelation from one of Nigerians finest singer Cynthia Morgan, were she revealed why she's been out of the public eyes for years now.

Incase you don't know her, she could pass as the queen of dancehall music in Nigeria as she's blessed with a unique voice and style, not neglecting her talent and beauty as well.

However, I wouldn't want to drag this issue as it's almost over flogged since her revelation, but as I will always do, I will say my truth here. I fear no one and I will always stand for the truth.

Everyone is standing for you, they feel you've been cheated, but nobody wants to tell you your wrong, me I will tell you.

Dear Cynthia Morgan or Madrina as you are now called, I hope you have leant some lessons in your days of absence in the industry, I hope you can now see that there's always life after fame?

Only God, you and Jude knows the real truth behind this bruhaha that has been on for days now, but then, we can't let this go without pointing out your fault in all of this. God gave us all different talents, but how we are able to handle it is what matters.

This is why I always tell people, controversial lifestyle isn't meant for everybody, the internet has receipt for everything we do and post.

Cynthia, you were a good singer filled with lots of stage energy, even with your controversial life, people still loved you, all your songs were hit back to back, but honestly, I don't know how you went from bad to worse. You allowed pride ride over you, you allowed famed cover your scenes of reading, you have similar attitude with Burna Boy. Is there a conversant with Reggae artistes and rudeness?

I don't know this thing with people changing after they have tested little fame, yea, I call it little fame because we still have people who are more famous, wealthy and still cool. Don Jazzy is a typical example, argue that with your keypad.

I know you have made some mistakes in your life which is not enough to crucify you, sometimes our mistakes are just a stepping stone to our greatness, that's if we are able to accept out mistakes and work on new path.

In life, it is bad to burn any bridge you passed because you think you have gotten to your destination, forgetting that you might not meet what you planned for before leaving the house, and for that, you will still need that bridge to cross back home.

Cynthia, when you were on top of your game, you fought so many people in the industry, calling people names, acting like Lady Gaga, forgetting that this is Nigeria were everyone is almost waiting for you to fail so they can remind you of your past.

I don't know what happened between you and your former label, but you need to go and make peace with them so that this your new glory can last. It is very bad for one to bite the finger that fed you, it's is wrong in every aspect. Making peace with him doesn't make you a coward, but rather a strong person.

Even with whatever he must have done to you, you still can't take away the fact that he still was useful to you at some point in your life.

You can not be completely right and wrong, and same with Jude Okoye and others you worked with then.

In as much as we all know that Jude has a bad side, that doesn't justify the fact that you were sometimes ago a funny lady with some questionable attitude, at least you beef with Davido is an example.

In 2015, the same Davido you called ill names is the same Davido in 2020 who is offering to help you get back at your feet before anyone.

I can vividly remember how you insulted him for supporting Lil Kesh who was formerly signed to Olamide's record label YBNL then, after Lil Kesh won the Headies Next Rated award where you were nominated in.

You took to Snapchat to call him a 'fvck boy'. You shared a video of yourself mocking and mimicking his voice saying, "And the winner for the best reggae/dancehall category is Cynthia Morgan" and you ended it with, "Fvck boy ina this industry".

Ironically today, that same Davido you mocked is the same person that have stretched out his hands of friendship to you to revamp your career, he even promised to do his on verse of your song just to show you how well he wants you to grow and come back.

So you see that life isn't all about us sometime, we should always think before doing anything, not just sometimes, always.

Little wonder why God hasn't blessed some people because he knows they might use it to oppress others.

Dear Cynthia, I hope this time you will be ready to be a better person, you will be ready to make amends. Tiwa Savage did not disrespect her elders in the game to get to where she is today, same with Yemi Alade, Seyi Shy, Chidinma, Waje, Omawumi and the rest of them yet they are all big today.

Controversy does not pay, it may seem like it is today, but tomorrow, you will still come back to it.

I urge you to go back and make peace with Jude and all you have offended in the past so that this your new glory can last.

Remember, incase you finally get signed into Davido's label, respect yourself, respect the fact that he is married, respect those you will meet there and I give you 3years, with the help of God and Davido, your star will bounce back.

I hope you find this and make good use of it, till then, I wish you all the best.

Kind regards from me Drealomalicha to you always.
